How to Get Scentsy Wax out of Carpet
ByHave you accidentally spilled melted Scentsy wax in your carpet? This happened in our house last year. I left the cord hanging over the side of the piano and my one year-old son decided he would like to pull on it. He spilled Black Raspberry Vanilla on the carpet. I am so thankfull it was Scentsy wax because it did not burn him at all! We had to comb dried wax out of his hair and that was it. And to get the wax out of the carpet, I followed these easy steps with a hot iron and a roll of paper towels:
- Heat the iron on its highest setting (but do not use steam!)
- Cover the spill with paper towels
- Place the hot iron on top of the paper towels and let the heat pull the wax out of the carpet
- The dye used in the wax may leave a stain, in which case use your favorite carpet spot remover to try and lift the stain.
